NASA struggles to get Astronaut's tongue unstuck from Hubble Telescope
02:41:59 pm, Categories: Humor AP – Cape Canaveral, Florida – NASA scientists were rushing to determine ways to get astronaut Scott Altman’s tongue detached from the Hubble Telescope. While details of the incident are vague, it is believed that fellow astronaut Megan McArthur “dared” Scott Altman to lick the Hubble Telescope in the depth of space. Afraid of being called a “fraidy cat", Scott Altman took off his helmet and licked the Hubble Telescope and in the deep freeze of space got his tongue stuck to it.
The remaining crew of the Atlantis used the robotic arm to get the Hubble into the payload area of the shuttle to determine a method of getting Altman’s tongue off of the Hubble telescope.
